Apart from the dosas, we enjoy the most delicious Vada. Soft, juicy, yet crunchy. Perfect for a late breakfast. All food is freshly prepared and there is a huge variety of dosa available.
Unfortunately, you can not get any Chai. The owner said, the place is already so busy and full of guests without Chai on the menu. It would be even more crowded would they serve tea... so he decided not to serve any.
Established in 1987, current manager Mr. Pardh took the restaurant over from his mother, around four years ago. She was inspired by a much travelled Uncle who lived many years in Tamil Nadu and got a heck of South Indian cooking.
The restaurant is a real gem, tucked away in a narrow street in the market just before Triveni Ghat, impossible to reach by car. Best you walk or come by scooter. Alternatively, you may park your vehicle in a nearby road.
